Toby de Lacey and Finn Cooke established De Lacey & Cooke in 2024, combining their experience in gardening, ecology, art & design, and floristry.
Toby began his career in floral design, spending five years producing living installations for high-profile London clients. He then followed his interest in horticulture, gaining experience in permaculture farming and landscape design while managing community initiatives across the UK and New Zealand. These two threads now find expression in the work he does now, where his talent for composition meets his love and knowledge of plants.
Finn follows in his mother's horticultural footsteps, having worked professionally in London's gardens for over ten years. Since studying biochemistry, philosophy, and information studies at University College London, he now applies both practical experience and research insights toward creating beautiful outdoor spaces. He is also interested in collaborating with artists, bringing their work into the gardens he designs.
